Private sector funding
The Carbon Trust Loans Scheme for SMEs (Small to Medium Enterprises)
Investing in our LED lighting solutions, or other energy efficient equipment, makes sound business and environmental sense, especially when financed with an interest-free business loan from the Carbon Trust.
We are a premium equipment supplier with the Carbon Trust, who provide a large source of funding for energy efficiency projects. No capital outlay is required, so you can purchase our products, and start saving, without affecting your own cash flow.
A typical loan value ranges from £3,000 to £100,000, depending on the amount and type of energy saved. Loan repayments are calculated from the energy savings proposed: your monthly repayments will be no more than the savings from your electricity bills. Your loan will therefore pay for itself.
ECA - Enhanced Capital Allowances Scheme
Our products are eligible under the ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowances) Scheme. Your business can receive first-year tax allowances against 100% of the capital cost plus installation of our products.
The scheme is a key part of the Government's programme to manage climate change. It provides businesses with enhanced tax relief for investments and equipment that meets published energy-saving criteria. Your business can write off the entire capital cost of your investment in these technologies against taxable profits of the period during which you make the investment. This can deliver a helpful cash flow boost and a shortened payback period.
Our Goodlight™ LED products are eligible for the Scheme under its criteria for White LED Lighting.

Meet your CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme obligations
The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (formerly known as the Carbon Reduction Commitment) is the UK's mandatory climate change and energy saving scheme.
The scheme started in April 2010 and is administered by the Environment Agency. The aim is to improve energy efficiency and cutting emissions in large public and private sector organisations. These organisations are responsible for around 10% of the UK's emissions.
The scheme provides a financial incentive to reduce energy use by putting a price on carbon emissions from such use and also provides the opportunity for participants to make savings on energy bills through improved energy efficiency. In CRC, organisations buy allowances equal to their annual emissions. Individual organisations can determine the most cost-effective way to reduce their emissions, either through buying extra allowances, or investing in ways to reduce their emissions and decrease the number of allowances they need to buy.
The scheme will publish annual performance league tables, ranking organisations on their energy efficiency performance. Qualifying organisations will have to comply legally with the scheme or face financial and other penalties.
